Massy Technologies InfoCom partnered with NCR to host the
"The Technology Retail Show"
. This event took place on September 20
2017, at the Marriott Hotel, Trinidad & Tobago. The event comprised of presentations on innovation in Retail Technology, with a focus on the NCR Self-Checkout. This is a major venture for the Massy Technologies InfoCom/ NCR team. The Self-Checkout will be the first of its kind in the Caribbean Region and Massy Technologies InfoCom, is proud to be pioneering such transformation in technology for our region and beyond.
Mauricio Arroyo, the NCR Channel Sales Manager for Mexico, Central America & the Caribbean Region, spoke about the challenges that retailers face in the evolving retail landscape. He spoke about the changing checkout experience and the need for retailers to offer an omnichannel experience for its customers. The Self-Checkout will improve customer service and aid retailers in managing their front end labour more efficiently.
Other components of the Store Transformation were displayed; Automated Banking for financial services, Mobile POS for associate interaction, Consumer mobile marketing and Self-Service Kiosks to name a few.
